About SECCCA › Our story
Our story
SECCCA is an alliance of councils in South East Melbourne working together to accelerate climate and energy resilience across the region. Established in 2004, SECCCA has more than two decades of experience delivering evidence-based, collaborative climate action. Councils pool resources, expertise and buying power to deliver projects that protect residents, homes, businesses and council assets, and that individual councils would struggle to fund or resource alone.
Who we are
Member councils set SECCCA’s direction through the Executive Committee, the SECCCA Mayoral Forum and the Advisory Group. The SECCCA team delivers projects on their behalf, working with council officers, businesses and community partners.
