Developing a climate communication guide for councils

SECCCA is working with the Monash Climate Communication Hub to develop a practical communication guide. It will help councils support their communities to understand, plan for and respond to current and future climate risks.

To reflect how councils actually operate, member council officers and elected officials are being surveyed on council roles and responsibilities, how councils communicate climate risk, how well communities understand it, and staff experiences. The survey closes on 14 October, followed by interviews.
