Introducing SECCCA’s New President – Simon Woodland

SECCCA CEO, Dominique La Fontaine has congratulated incoming President for 2023, Mr Simon Woodland from the Bass Coast Shire Council.

Simon was elected unanimously at this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking on the role from Emily Boucher, who was President of SECCCA for the last 4 years.  Speaking at the AGM, Dominique highlighted her gratitude to Emily for her leadership and thanked her for the passion and expertise.

Simon further acknowledged SECCCA's work, stating it was becoming ever more important and urgent in a warming world. The next year holds much potential for SECCCA and Simon is honoured to step into the position of President.
